Restorative Massage

Therapeutic care and deep relaxation
Massage supports the body’s natural healing process, not only through easing muscular tension, stress, and recovery, but also through the simple act of slowing down and being met with presence.

In a world that can feel disconnecting, stressful, and like a firehose of stimulus, massage offers nourishment and restoration. Whether you are seeking deep relaxation or therapeutic support for specific areas of tension, massage creates space to pause and be met with presence. It is a way of returning to yourself, softening, resting, and letting your body rediscover ease.

In my practice, I bring together both relaxation and therapeutic techniques, delivered with the same attuned presence that shapes my Rosen Method work. My approach draws on nervous system awareness and trauma-informed principles, woven into the simple act of being present with your body.

My Massage Approach

Connection first
Beyond technique, the touch here is caring, respectful, and responsive—attuned to meeting you exactly as you are and honoring what your body needs. We listen together, always in dialogue with your body and at your pace.

Therapeutic techniques, when needed
Focused pressure, holding, myofascial work, and stretching can address chronic tension, stress, and injury.

Relaxation that truly lands
Slow, flowing strokes help the whole system settle, inviting restorative rest and nervous system regulation.

Co-creating your experience
Your experience matters. Together we shape your session to meet your needs, such as pressure, pace, areas of focus, or style of touch. You're invited to share feedback at any time. Through this collaboration, we create a session that truly supports you.

Honoring intimacy and vulnerability

Massage is a close, human experience. To allow yourself to be touched with care, to slow down, soften, and receive, is a courageous act.

In a culture that often demands speed and independence, taking time to rest in this kind of presence without rush or expectation can be deeply healing.

I acknowledge the intimacy, closeness, and vulnerability of receiving touch, and I work with care to ensure it feels safe and supportive.

"Your body is a map of your life. It stores your memories, your joys, your sorrows, your traumas. And it also holds the key to your healing.”

Consent-focused and trauma-informed

Rooted in Rosen Method and informed by Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent and the Somatopia Relational Skills Trauma Certificate Program, my practice emphasizes choice, collaboration, communication, and honoring your nervous system.

  • You are invited to give feedback, to ask for what you want, and to adjust or pause at any time.
  • We adjust pressure, draping, and techniques to match your comfort in the moment.
  • You can pause or redirect the session at any point.
  • Safety and consent are not add-ons, they’re the container for good touch.
  • Together we set agreements preferences and limits.

Exploring sensation and embodied awareness

Massage can be more than relief for sore muscles, it can be a way of listening to your body’s wisdom. Together we slow down, explore sensation, and create space for awareness, intuition, and embodied knowing to emerge.

We'll take time to slow down, connect, and invite you to tune into your body and inquire:

  • What kind of touch feels good to you?
  • What kind of contact helps you soften or release?
  • How do you know when touch feels right?
  • What do you need to feel comfort with touch and being safely met
